My Dad's birthday is coming up, and hes asked for David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust & The Spiders From Mars on CD, though a record deck would be more useful has he has it on LP 
... but anyway, I've got that one covered, but had a think of what else to get him, and I thought i'd also look at getting him Roy Orbisons Greatest Hits stylee CD too.
However, theres about a million versions, each with different recordings etc etc, and im at a loss as to which will have either the original single recordings, or good remasters/recordings (as reading, it seems the originals arent available due to the label going bust years ago?).
Any advice ? CD catalogue number would be appreciated.
