TIA.

Sometimes I find drivers for things by going into device manager, right click the unrecognised device, Go to properties > details tab > Hardware ID dropdown

You can put the PCI\VEN and DEV sections into Google and it should bring back some results that might help

Sorted it. The PCI\vendor said it was an Atheros (168c) so i installed a driver from their website, which left the wifi card with an exclamation mark at the side of it, device cannot be started etc. So I tried updating the driver via windows update and its installed a MWN-CB54G driver, seems to be working great:)

nope, it reads them from the hardware ID's etc, I've used it about 100 times for finding out on machines with no drivers installed

very handy app
