I'd have a look at the Dell Outlet if I were you!

(mods feel free to delete if we aren't allowed to mention this anymore?? - there used to be a whole thread but I can't seem to find it so maybe not allowed to mention??)

The budget is now £650, found a Toshiba Satellite L855-10P & a Samsung 350V5C are either of these worth considering.

Is there any i7 or i5 17'' 1080p laptops within budget that anyone would recommend, as both laptops i mentioned seam to have poor screen quality.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,

Is anyone able to help me by suggesting any more laptops that i should consider.

Still looking for i5 or i7 ivy bridge with best screen possible, not concerned with hdd size.

Any more help would be grate.

Thanks.

You should try and snag an Inspiron 15R SE or 17R SE off the outlet.

Regards.

C.

Should have mentioned from start that the laptop is going to be a present, so a re furb is not an option must be new.

The family member wants to choose from the best in that budget, so looking for as many suggestions as possible.

Any help would be grate

Thanks

Went for a Toshiba Satellite L875-116,

17.3''
i5 - ivy bridge 2.9GHz
8gb ram
1tb hdd
screen - 1600x900
1x USB 2.0, 2x USB 3.0
AMD Radeon HD 7670M
= £679

Was this a good decision, or have i made a mistake.
