Walk round town and try anywhere

If its just a part time job why not a supermarket?

general english and grammar is very very bad.. you've used a , right next to 'and'.. also you've repeated words a lot that are close to each other.. no offence!

im also in a similiar situation - although i've only really applied to one place :P Dont really know how to approach it - any advice?

Go to your Student Union. They usually have a board full of part-time jobs ideal for students, with contact details etc.

Edit: Ignore me. I just realised you're 17 so you're not at Uni.

changes:
  • don't list all your GCSE's seperately - nobody cares that much, just put 'GCSE - 11 A-C including English & Maths
  • Don't list the individual modules of your AS's - again nobody cares that much just put the subjects and the grades
  • I'm not sure I'd bother putting 'evenings of achievement' - the only reason to consider leaving them is if you can't think of anything to replace them with
  • in the interest section remove 'and it has taken my life from me' - it makes you sound like some addict - not what an employer wants
  • Your school gave you some really awful work experience - not an awful lot you can do about that though

Rewrite this bit;

and am willing to continue to study at A2. I am currently willing to partake in part time work during evenings and weekends and full time during any holidays. If there is no place now, then I am willing to wait until Christmas and after to start. -

You use the word 'willing' far too much. Infact I think you could scrap that entire paragraph.

Reduce the entire CV down to two pages. There is no need for it to be longer than 2 pages. Swap your GSCE and AS level reults round. You should have your most recent education first. 'Statisics' is spelt wrong, but I would just put down something like 11 GCSEs A-C. also give the name of the school, not just 'London'. also don't bother putting down what you got for different AS level papers. Just put your final grade.

That should help to start with. :)

ok thanks guys.

have already changed it.

anything else?

I still cant belive i didnt get into No Competitors!. i know more about computers that those retarded tech guys and purple shirt sales assistances

Why not just be honest, i got my first job aged 16 in GAP as a Christmas temp. I had no previous experience i was just honest and stated my achievements at school and my hobbies. I helped my younger sister make her cv, who was in the same situation as i was (no experience), she now works at IKEA.
Basic grammar and spelling is simple. Re-read what you have and stop being lazy, no one wants to employ someone who can't even be bothered to make the effort to correct a cv.

try tesco/ sainsburys / asda / morrisons. if you cant get a student job then you really arent trying, supermarkets are deffo the way to go:) I know tesco dont ask for a CV or your gcse results (as they assume you dont have any)

Basically what Blackstar said.
Hand one in to everywhere! Even places you might not think would be great. You can always leave if you really really hate it but you could always meet good people.
If you can't get a part time student job there's something wrong. I handed out 30 cvs last time and 27 of them called me back!

did you go in and hand them in or phone then hand them in (personally)?

Hand in personally. I wouldn't phone first for a student job. Even if they don't have places it's worth trying just since they keep your details.
One shop actually told me then and there they didn't have any positions available but sent me to Dunelm Mill telling me to talk to the manager and on the same day I got the job.

Best part time job as a student I've done is selling official programmes at race events. The latest one they expected me to sell very few on the Thursday/Friday and gave me platinum paddock passes, inc. pit access on the Thursday and Friday events.

This year I've got a form for Waterstones, I will be doing some race events again, but also considering Showsec as it's easy money.

You'd be surprised. I know one or two of those "retarded tech guys" and they know a fair bit.

By the way, remove as many of those am's in the first few paragraphs as possible.

I am just about to start year 13, and am studying Chemistry, Computing, Mathematics and Physics

Could be:
I'm about to begin year 13, studying Chemistry, Computing Mathematics and Physics.

Try and cut down on the I's too. Keep it brief.

I got 11 A-C GCSEs out of the 11 that I did
Remove.

Fix some of the formatting errors in your results.

keeping myself updated on any new major issues

Change issues to topics.

. I have designed a relational database in Access and also know the basics in Visual Basic computer language, and have created a voting system using Visual basic

Change the basics before VB to a different word and remove the bit about voting system.

I became interested in this, and is has taken my life from me

Change the wording of this line. It sounds weird, plus the typing error.

The last bit about the co-op seems like your hitting the points but it sounds like someone with a limited vocabulary has written it. Again, the last line needs to be removed or replaced.

In all, look for different words than "very" and "a lot".

Try adding another colour to your main headings too. Don't forget a cover letter and keep the CV to two pages, max.
