Hate to create a thread for this but I am struggling to find the aftershave I am looking for.

I have aftershave here that I have had for about 10 years.

It looks like this but on my box it says:

Top Notes:

Orange Blossom, Apple

Heart Notes:

Cinnamon

Base Notes:

Sensual woody notes

There is no other numbers or anything else to identify it from.

When I look at one of the Amazon review pics I see this.

Is mine the same as the one I liked to here?

The one I have is an Eau De Toilette.

Maybe they have just changed the way they are describing the product now days.

Ok... I think I found it, mine is called intense.

This seems blooming hard to find. There is Hugo Boss intense online as found by @Begbie but its not in stock and trying to work out if the ones that look similar without the intense in their name are the same as mine is impossible.

OK, Boss have a live chat thing which I will try tomorrow.

I think boss discontinued it but you could try a dupe version like this...

I've tried dupe aftershaves before, so disgusting.

The reviews on the one I linked suggest high satisfaction. Maybe you're confusing dupe with fake. A good quality dupe from a reliable source is different to buying a fake from a market stall. The dupe is still made from quality components that someone chose how to blend. It could be using the same perfumes as the original in a similar blend.

The sample I bought was from one of the leading ones in the UK, maybe it was fake though.

Pretty sure it was the essence vault.

Websites own reviews never fill me with any confidence, like Amazon reviews. But if you've tried it and recommended it, ud happily try dupe aftershaves again.

Replica fragrances I think are very fragrance specific.

I bought a trio from The Essence Vault as it was cheap - two of them (Aventus and Ombre Leather) get loads of positive comments, more than i've ever had with mainstream level genuine fragrances like Boss/Chanel. The Dior Sauvage replica though doesn't get those comments, so evidently is not so good :p

The fake ones I was referring to were the ones people buy from market stalls or on holiday from unknown stores. You get good and bad dupes though too, so I wouldn't judge them all on one bad experience. If in doubt try the sample option first if they offer one. I haven't tried the one I linked to yet as I still have quite a bit of hugo boss. I've tried a few dupes though, from Aldi I have the paco rabanne 1 million and a few others. Couldn't say if they were accurate dupes but I like the scent of them so that's all that matters to me. I will compare to the original if I remember to be nosey when passing a suitable shop, Debenhams was always a good place to try them out. :(

Seems you're right. This fragrance has been discontinued. :(

based on this comment, I went and bought a few bottles. Jesus christ!!  The projection and longevity is off the scale.
Office stinks of oud for greatness today. In fact, I think it's getting stronger not weaker as the day goes on. You can smell me coming a mile off.

Very happy with them though, so thanks for the link. Seems to smell the same as my originals, only 10x stronger lol

No worries, seems like they've used a decent amount of perfume in the formulation then from your experience.
