Help Me Find Something to do

With that thread the other day about the blind guy topping 130mph skiing, I was talking to my dad about something to do and we would like to do something along those lines, i.e. something different that would normally be impossible or extremely difficult for him to do.

Ideally I would like to do somethin like car racing or climb a mountain, does anyone know of anywhere I can look up things like this or simply recommend something that they would like to see a blind man doing or do themselves even.

hmm, I dont think he'd be up for anythin that extreme, thats like the complete end of the scale in adrenaline. Plus I was plannin on doin it with him and I dont think I would be up for skydiving.

I have heard of it yeah but all I know is its a racetrack, some more details would be good, do they let you have free reign on it or what?

Ideally I would like to be just me and him in the car with him drivin and me just tellin him what to do.

You HAVE to be crackers!!!

A lap of the top gear test track was difficult enough for that blind guy who was fully able to drive before he was blinded.

Besides, you need a full licence to drive on it, its just a derestricted toll road rather than a race track.

By way of a comparison, skydiving is QUITE a lot safer!

I dont think its about safety, skydiving is just way scarier, my dad had a driving licence I think before he went blind, he can defintely drive, I've seen him do it on beach and hes done it on a airfield before.

We're up for doing somethin like that, you dont need to look to press the brake as hard as you can and I dont think any blind man or anyone for that matter could go round a track first go at full pace to be able to complete it properly, its just somethin I want to look into first.

Thanks for all your input on this though, I'll be sure to post picture sof whatever we end up doin even if its only goin up snowdon or somethin.
