Okay so this is not as exciting as you may hope, My google skills suck and im trying to find a replacement power plug for my security ip camera as the Mrs moved sofa back and snapped it in 2

My IP camera is SmartCam HD 1080p Full HD WiFi Camera (model SNH-E6411BN/EX) i however i have checked ebay and google and cant find any mains plugs for it any ones help is appreciated.

Is the power-in connector a generic one or proprietary?

Looks like 9V DC. You want a multi-adapter with the right connector.

It came with a uk plug for me to put on if that makes a difference? i cant get the model from the adapter as its worn away over time

Did she snap the cable or the little connector that goes in the camera ?

Yup. The spec sheet for the camera says it operates at 9V at 1A so that will do just fine.

What goes into the camera itself seems like a generic one similar to what would go into a laptop

Get a cheap multi transformer with interchangeable connectors and a 9V DC setting like the one I linked. The linked one was expensive, you should get one for £7 or £8.

The cable that goes into the camera is fine, She has snapped the uk connector that sits on the power adapter itself but the base of the connector is still on the power adapter which i cant get off which i think is due to how she has snapped it
