Help me find the name of a childhood game (Sega Master System/possible Mega Drive)

Hey Guys

I was just out for lunch and thought about a game I used to play when I was little with a mate.

It was on the sega master system (well from memory i think it was) and was a fighting game, side scrolling (I think).

The characters that you used to play were wrestlers and had Mexican wrestling masks on.

I am afraid that is all I can remember, because that was seriously ages ago.

If anyone has ANY ideas it would be cool to hear them.

Yea i've just been looking now and the character style in that image definitely brings up some memories.

Do you know if you could fight in places outside the ring in that game?

Unless my memory is trying to merge memories of that with golden axe or something.

I managed to find it on google myself before you replied, but damn i should play it again to refresh those memories!
 
Cant remember been so long since the old master system days, but you used to do that with another game “WWF Wrestlemania: Steel Cage Challenge”

It is just those masks which are burnt into my memory.

Yea, I really miss those days. Was just talking about my childhood best friend, we used to go through console after console just teaming up playing games.

Amazing game, still is.
Me and my mate used to play 'Joe and Mac' sooooooo much.
We could get to the end boss without trying but back then we just didn't have the skills (pretty young) to beat him :(
 
I wish I could go on a six weeks holiday right now. And have it last for what felt like almost a year like it did when you were younger.

I've had loads of ROMs in the past. But.....it makes me feel better hooking up my consoles and playing them properly :P

Playing Sonic on the 360 isn't right, the timings for the controller are ever so slightly out compared to the sega ones. That small timing leads to lots more deaths if you're used to the sega!

i tried selling all my mega drive and ps1 and ps2 and xbox games on ebay, for a week at a time for 1 month, about half of them sold.

i dont know what to do with the other half.

i would even consider giving all the mega drive games away for cheap, so long as it covers postage and packaging.

ive told my fiancee to take them to a charity shop or give them away, but she aint done it so far, if you want them let me know.
 
eternal champions, terminator 2, total football, world tournament soccer, kick off three, fifa 96, fifa 95, pit fighter.

mega drive 2 console missing all leads

got a special controller as well i think with extra buttons, abc, xyz and turbo, official controller it is.
