Help me find the ultimate seed killer :-)

10 years ago I bought a box of seed from b&q which killed everything in it's path. Weeds, Grass, Plants you name it.

Can't for the life of my remember what it was called, but I need some for a friends garden I'm working on.

It all seems to be liquid based these days :confused:

any ideas?

Probably was this - but this has been banned since 2010.

The main alternative is the liquid based Glyphosate, which works pretty well, but from experience only affects weeds already present, it doesn't stay in the ground long enough to prevent weeds growing.

Thanks for the replies

I've looked on the internet and it wasn't sodium....it was tiny little seeds (looked the same as grass seed). The stuff was amazing, within a few days everything was dead :eek:
