Hi.
Theres an ADM template for AD that ive been told about that im trying to get hold of that allows me to configure XP's firewall settings from it.
I cant find it. :p.

Anyone care to help? :)

Thanks in advance all. :).

What more does it do that the inbuilt options don't?
(Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Network -> Network Connections -> Windows Firewall)

Offers a few more options in regards to the local policy based firewall options.
:).

You need to make sure you have the Windows XP SP2 ADM files installed on one of your DC's.
I think ive managed to find a download for them.
Cant see them in GPE though. Am i missing something?

Well if you have downloaded the ADM you need to add it to group poilcy manager. Right click on the Adminitrative Templates container, and you have the option to add/remove ADM files.

Wheres the administrative templates container ?

In my copy of GPMC I don't have a container called this, so in the past I've had to manually copy over the adm files to the DC
