can any of you help me reach 2.6ghz or above my spec is 4200x2 asus a8r mvp 2gb of 3200xms with artic freezer currently running at 2.5ghz ht at 600 fsb at 255 multi x10 mem is on 166 at 2.7 volts and cpu 1.4 volts but i cant set volts any higher.i can get it to boot in to windows at 2.6ghz but just cant get it stable fails sp2004 after half hr. any help on this would be great thanks.

Dont have any experience with that Motherboard I have to say. Mine have all been NForce since I got my first introduction with NForce boards with the Abit NF7S and, putting it bluntly, I have never bothered with anything else since!

to get more than 1.4v on the x2 chips on the a8r-mvp and the a8r32-mvp you need to use the vcore over voltage which are +100 and +200 so say you have the cpu volts at 1.4 then use the +100mv option in the over volt it will feed 1.5 volts to your cpu and then if you used 1.3 volts and the +200mv then again you would get 1.5 volts which one you use depends on the situation 
Tom|Nbk been in bio,s enabled over voltage but can not see this setting for +100 and +200. only option for o/voltage is enable/disable set fsb to 260x10 ran sp2004 small fft,s failed after 3 mins mem is running at 216. htt at 3x but if i try lowering mem to 133 wont boot at all. cpu.z says volts are about 1.428/1.504 temps idel 34 load 52 at 2550.seems like this chip just dont wont it any higher.
