Help me get a widescreen and a normal TFT to line up :-)

Hey Guys,

I'm looking at getting three TFTs for multi-monitor :-)

My original plan was to get a dell widescreen 20" in the middle and a couple of dell 19" tfts either side.

Do you think they would line up properly? I'm sure I've seen a photo somewhere on this site where they had matched them up properly but can't remember what sizes they were.

I thought of that, but the dimensions are with the stand which may be different on a smaller TFT

unless someone with both could measure just the screen part for me please :D
 
I've seen a pic somewhere of a dell 2405 alongside a dell 1905 screen, and the height of both appear to be exactly the same. (You may be refering to the same pic).

I've been considering the same thing you're looking for, as it'll look so much better if the dual monitors lined up, but I've got the 2405 and can't be too sure if the 20" is of same height. If it is, then the 1905 could be a good option.
 
..oops, just seen a pic of a 2405 next to a 2001(on the thread: 'Show us your TFT setups!!'), and the 2001 is just under an inch shorter in height, so therefore the 1905 won't be your solution. Sorry
