This is the current spec, i want all cables on show to be red braided, but no idea, on which ones to buy  im playing with different colour themes around the same sort of spec.

So here goes:

I personally think white led would be better for fans mate, too much red overpowers a nice build. White led's will light it up better rather than a red glow. Consider some White cables too, can work well as for some contrast

Your build is essentially an up to date version of mine so have a look at my pc for idea on colours that you may or may not think work well.

Really like that mate! right well the back fans aren't LED just solid red/black which i think will look nice, as for the front fans then should i go for the enermax led fans, love the way they look.. as the sp120s will be on the top.. i can change the color rings on them.

in terms of cables what would you recommend, im not sure which cables i will need, ill go with the alchemy bundle (red) but what extras will i need, some white cables will look nice definitely!

I wouldnt get led fans personally, led strips work better.

Cable wise, 24pin, 8pin eps, and 2x6pin pcie I think for a reference 670 I think but it may be different on the asus.

colour wise red does work well, bitfenix also do red and black cables but they may look a bit too dennis the menace. red, white or black cables would work well and black also helps hide cables a bit.

The enermax fans give off a nice white glow, I had one before and it was a decent fan but didnt shift much air really and the motherboard wouldnt power it properly, kept stalling. I would stick to one type of fan for the case so if you like the sp120's then perhaps get them for the front but the AF versions.

Im so out of the game its been a good 5years since i built a computer, AF fans on the front then? what about the led strip i have is that enough?

So on the front the Quiet AF Versions (Red Rings)

Back the Small 80mm (Red)

Top SP120s (White Rings)

As for cables.. im so lost so many options!

Corsair do 2 types of fans, SP= Static Pressure for high restriction scenarios such as heatsinks, radiators etc and the AF= Air Flow for areas where higher airflow is needed such as case fans. Noy a lot of difference between them really but just though you should know.

Cant see what led's you have spec'd in the build? Akasa have decent strips as do bitfenix but they are a little more pricey.

ahh i see it sorry haha.

yea the nzxt should work but I have no experience with them so cant comment on how bright they are but I think they are switchable as in on off which is nice

Its the NZXT? someone recommended it to me..

i need to work out these cables..

so i'd need 2 sata cables for the HDDs including sata power cables?

and then just basically fan powercables or extenders?

This should be what you need

YOUR BASKET
1 x BitFenix Alchemy 24pin ATX extension 30cm - Red £8.99
2 x BitFenix Alchemy 6pin PCI-E extension 45cm - Red £6.49 (£12.98)
1 x BitFenix Alchemy 8pin EPS extension 45cm - Red £5.99
Total : £27.96 (includes shipping : FREE).

you can do the rest of the components but the cables wont be see so will be a waste of money and be a pain to tidy as the cables get really long with extensions.

The bundle is cheaper though but you will need an extra 6pin as it comes with 1x8 and 1x6 unless you ring ocuk and see if they can make an amendment

Thats great will all fan cables and io cables be hidden pretty much?

only if you do a good job :)

my last case looked wireless, thats how good i am! haha, im gonna go for mainly white cables throw a few red in, in terms of fans they mainly use 2 cables correct one molex 1 controller? or is it 1 cable, i forget this is how out of touch i am, i cant even remember!

fans use a 3pin or a 4pin if a pwm fan and can be connected to the motherboard to control them or used on a fan controller which will use a molex

so i dont need to power from a molex then.. just literally connect them to the mobo

Also can you just talk me through what the cables connect to that you spec'd , so i can get a better idea, i owe you BIG time for your help, I've been so out of touch trying to get back in is proving a nightmare.. i've no idea what io cables i need either for the front LED on the parvum

The case should come with all the cables needed to use its font panel.

all fans can be powered off the motherboard so you should be ok its just that 4 pin pwm fans will be better controlled where as 3 pin fans will just run at max speed.

The 8pin eps is the cpu power and is at the top left of the motherboard, the 24pin is on the right and the 2 6 pins go into the gpu. They are special connectors that only fit into the correct cable anyway so if it doesnt fit then you have the wrong one.
