I have only made the following change to try and get it stable, I have the RAM running 1.38, you can't set it to 1.4 on this board.

I get a blue screen a day with then error Attempted Write to Readonly Memory.

There is no pattern to it, just random blue screens.

Help!!!

BIOS up to date.

Stable at stock.

Stable at 3200 Mhz with XMP enabled in an Intel-based system.

I haven't run Memtest at stock or overclocked.

So i have ran MemTest and it has complete 4 passes.

I get these errors:

Test # Tests Passed Errors
Test 0 [Address test, walking ones, 1 CPU] 4/4 (100%) 0
Test 1 [Address test, own address, 1 CPU] 4/4 (100%) 0

When you say running at stock it is fine ie at 3200 the stock XMP setting?

When you try to run tighter timings, it fails?

8 pack ram guarantee the timings so you can get in touch with OCUK and see what they say.

Stock as in 2400 Mhz.

I have tried loosening the timings with XMP enabled and the timings adjusted as per DRAM calculator and sometimes it won't even boot.

I haven't tried different slots to be honest or a single module, I will do that now.

Should I just enable XMP and test that way or fiddle with the timings?

I just run MemTest with a single module in slot A2, XMP enabled.

It passed the test.

I’ve swapped the module over now and it is testing.
