Hello, well i gonna buy a new system so ill post what i gonna get! for your opinion. I really appreciate it coz im so noob making systems. thanks in advance.

-Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 Dual-Core Processor, 3.16 GHz, 6M L2 Cache, 1333MHz FSB, LGA775
-X3 1000-WATT Modular Psu Power Supply
-eVGA e-GeForce GTX280 1GB DDR3 PCI-Express 2.0 Graphics
-EVGA nForce 790i Ultra SLI Socket 775
-OCZ Platinum Enhanced Bandwidth Edition 4GB (2X 2GB) PC3-12800 DDR3
-Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 - Hard drive - 500 GB - internal - 3.5" - SATA-300 - 7200 rpm - buffer: 32 MB (ST3500320AS)
-Windows Vista 64b.

thanks for anyone that can help. :)

Gaming PC seems to be what your after, and for total spend you could get far more bang for buck and imo bit more cpu lifespan. Here is my half awake early morning build opinion :)

-Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 LGA775 (Overclock it to 3.6, or if your lucky 4Ghz)
-Thermalright TRUE Black 120 CPU Cooler
-Asus P5Q Pro Intel P45
-Point of View GeForce GTX 280 (Or the Powercolor ATI Radeon HD 4870 1024MB)
-OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-8500C5
-Western Digital RE3 500GB SATA-II 16MB
-Windows Vista 64
-Corsair TX 750W ATX2.2 SLI Compliant PSU
-Coolermaster CM-690 Dominator Case

What brand is that PSU? But 600W+ reputable brand PSU should be enough for that setup.

As above, change mobo to Intel P45 chipset based ;)

Will this be pre-built or you putting it together yourself?

HI! well is not a pre-built system but i already bougth the video card, processor and DDR Memories.. but i was thinking about the mobo coz i read some bad reviews of it, DOA, DIE PCI Slots, etc so i want ask to experts about this mobo coz some people like talk bs! ahh and about the Power Supply im planing do SLI with the 280`s, so i read that i need some extra power hehe.. well so what do you say is better the P45 than eVGA i790?.. im really confused about what mobo use.. thanks.

I'm a bit confussed. In your opening post you express a wish for the E8500 but in the post above you say you bought a CPU but don't state what.

The best place to start is your choice of CPU as this will dictate which socket you'll need.

So, which CPU do you have?

Yes! Sorry ... heh wll i have the E8500, the DDR 3 memories and the 280 Video Card! so i want help with the mobo..thanks.

wouldn't bother with the DDR3 memory on a core 2 chipset. DDR2 is more than adequate.

You say you are looking for an SLi setup. In that case, you will need an nforce7 motherboard supporting socket 775.

Depending on your budget, then the Asus P5N nforce 750i is a snip under £100 or you can push the boat out a bit and go for a P5N-T nforce 780i.

There is little between them tbh. The 780i I believe supports 3 way SLi which I don't see the benefit. I would personally go for the 750i

What ewver your choice, buy 4GB of Corsair PC2-6400 for under £40 and you are off.

No worries, if you have already purchased DDR3 and an E8500, then the Asus P5QC is a good board and supports both DDR2 and DDR3.
but it won't support 2 Geforce cards in SLi

If you want SLi and DDR3 then your next port of call is the the nforce 790 series, and they are £218 plus

The question you have to ask your self is "do you really need SLi"?
