Help me hit 5ghz

as above really!

cant seem to get the pc to boot at 5ghz it just hangs at the bios screen even changing the multi to 50 causes a hang in the bios without saving and exiting!

usually run 4.7ghz [47x100] @ 1.28v.. had a play this afternoon and got 4.9ghz [49x100] @ 1.34v

llc turbo
all other voltages left on auto!

Go higher on vcore..? Temps are already high mind..

It took 1.4V on my 2500k to get 5GHz, but you're risking degrading your chip when you're pushing that kind of voltage at those temps. You'd want to be a lot cooler to consider that kind of voltage.

Was trying for bench run at 5ghz rather than everyday clocks. The temp difference between 4.7 and 4.9 isnt worth the 200mhz.

Shame ivy is so poor at dumping its heat, even on my custom loop i cant keep the temps down
