Help me ID this movie! I'm going insane...

WARNING, you are about to be exposed to extreme 'vague-ness'

essentially its a late 80s/early 90s (kids?) film. i remember some monster/person blocking himself up in a room (ie with bricks) when a clock strook like midnight (i think). and then if i remember rightly, it's discovered years later...

and thats it, im not sure if it's a ghost film or whatever, i just remember that part of the film and i've been on imdb for hours now searching for what it might be.

please someone put me out of my misery....

nah, dont think so.

i seem to remember the main character had really funny looking big eyes, dont think it was human.

it was set in some old mansion i think.... :confused:

i think the title had "midnight" in it, or "12 o clock" but im really not sure

it was called "ghost chase"... me = happy bunny

the reviews are shocking for it though, maybe it wasn't actually as good as i remember
