I need to replace my headset, but I am getting a bit lost with the amount of options and don't want to order the wrong parts.

I have this bike

Cane creek headset finder tells me that I need
Upper
ZS 44 / 28.6
Lower
ZS 55 / 40

i assume cane creek is telling me sizes in metric but looking on most sites headsets are listed in imperial.
Do I need a semi-integrated tapered ?

I spent 3 hours after i posted this on various sites trying to work it all out.
And the 2 links you have posted are exactly what I have ordered, same supplier too. :D

I know my way around a bike to change the headset etc, I just haven't kept up with the latest lingo and standards.
I was really into MTB'ing around the mid 90s, and there weren't so many different types of headset then, pretty much threaded or non-threaded in 2 sizes

Aye it's a *********** now with headsets, BBs and less so now but wheel axles/spacing.

There are two semi integrated 1.5" standards....with a 1mm difference in the cup......why?????

Integrated headsets - IS41/42 (1 1/8") 47(1 1/4"), 49(1 3/8") , 52, 51ish(1 1/2") then Giant do bigger steerers with a frame that uses IS42 and 47 but with a bigger inner race to suit a 1 1/4" steerer.

:o:D

I moan a lot but back int day you had to buy a new caliper half for a Hope C2 if you wanted a bigger rotor or moved from IS mount. Then you had all those bloody washers to space out IS brakes until post mount took over. Octalink/ISIS BB was a thing but was it really any worse than press fit bearings that last a few months and potentially wear carbon frames out over time?
