I hear this noise coming from my pc speakers sometimes, the past 2 or 3 pc's I have built it happens, all using XP
I have never managed to record it as it seems to happen randomly, and not very often tbh
the only way I can describe it is it sounds like a bit of paper being snatched from a pile, or maybe a stone getting thrown in a pile of stones ?? or maybe the noise a chip would make getting flung on to the table at a casino etc

sort of noise, the noise happens twice when it happens, about 1 second between each time it sounds
does anyone have the slightest idea what I'm on about here ??
