Help me identify this seed-like thing in my bread

So, son was complaining the bread was mouldy. It wasn't out of date. But this strange object was inside the bread. It's got a fairly hard surface. It's probably some seed I said, but I don't know. It doesn't look particularly appealing anyway. Just to add, Google thinks its an uncut diamond

It's from a piece of Warburtons Toastie. There were two pieces that have had that in it. I've spoken to them and they want me to send it to them asap. I've still no idea what it is.

I posted the foreign object this morning. It's on its way to Mr Warburton. I will keep you lot informed!

My guess is it'll turn out to be something to do with the flour that didn't get milled properly, or more seriously it could be an indicator that something on one of the machines is broken (did they ask for the date/batch of the bread?) and if that's the case it's probably going to require them inspect all the machinery used for that batch.

The standard complaint form asked for the batch code, so we will see.
