Help me install wow bc trail

Well i thought i would give wow a try again so i downloaded the free bc trial. I downloaded the WOW BC Installer downloaded thing and put it in my wow folder, but now when i try to start wow i get the following message

Your account is authorized for the bc, but your comp does not contain bc data. To play on this machine you must install the bc?

What have i done wrong thx

dont worry i sorted it. i ran it instead of installing it. seemed to work 1.25GB download now though :/

To play BC demo do you need to have lvl 60 charactors? I was a casual player, my highest was a lvl 54 warrior.

Also can you play the BC demo without having an existing wow account? I ask this as i am not a paying customer to wow at them moment.

You don't need a lvl 60 + char, but you need to be lvl 58 to go through the portal.

So how do the new races work? Do they still have to lvl up through the original areas? Do they have there own starting areas?

New starting areas, level up through the old areas.

You need an existing account, existing accounts can trial BC.

Also to see some BC goodies you don't need to be 60 since you could just start a new race char for example, being BC content.

Or you could get a mage to portal you to outland at any level or race

Though i doubt you could kill anything.
