I have been sorely tempted to buy one of the new ATI cards for my PC, but I wanted to get away from gaming on the PC, and all I really play on the PC is shooters, and mostly COD 4 and ET:QW.

So am looking to get COD 4 for the 360, but have heard bad thigns about the 360 version of ET:QW - is it really that bad if I loved the PC version?

Also what other good FPS multiplayer titles are there? Tried the demo for BF:BC and liked that but I am a cheap skate and don't like paying full price for new games.

Can get Frontlines for £18 - is it worth a go at that price?

Well, bought some shooters and another thing happened to convince me to avoid the pc - decided it had been a while since I had played ET:QW so fired up for a quick round, and kept crashing back to desktop :(

Oh well, once we have finished season 7 of gilmore girls, the tv will no longer be monopolised for watching tv on, and will get back into some games on my trusty 360 :)

I don't understand, you have a decent spec PC which you use to play COD4 and ETQW, yet you want to stop doing this and instead buy and play COD4 and ETQW on the 360? Why??

Its just that on the PC, prefer using 4xAA and playing at my monitors native res of 1680x1050 while maintaining hopefully around 60 FPS. The 3870 doesn't cut it for that. IT's not a bad card, just not good for over 1440x900 and no AA.

Though, when I play on the 360, graphics and frame rates do not bother me as much. Perhaps it is distance from screen. Plus, I do prefer sitting on bean bag/sofa to play.

Just got an upgrade itch I think, and trying to suppress it. One of reasons I bought the 360 was to stop from upgrading my PC all the time, but made mistake of downgrading GPU when I got it - had G92 GTS before.
