Help me, Make a Sane Choice

So i'm still using a 570 as main graphics card due to RMAING MY 7990

The waiting is getting to much i want to order A Better card now

Please Guys of the Forum point out why buying now is silly
(specially with Nvidia new cards soon) & no idea what Gigabyte will send me in return...

my brain says don't buy, but my heart & patients are like new toys buy now!

still unsure on which Team to go with too watching reviews of each card is also not helping

actually also looking at moving to x99 and all in one upgrade, masybe this is silly as my 3770k is very powerful but new toys!

this 570 cannot play anything above low on most new games, and crashes on Sniper Ellite v3!

Ask for a refund on your 7990 and put that towards one of the new cards.

Any older games you need to get around to playing? This might be the perfect opportunity while you can't get distracted by the new stuff

If you are considering going x99, what is your total budget like if you were to go full upgrade? What res are you playing at and are you likely to go higher any time soon?

pros for waiting are new stuff could be awsome and push down the price of old stuff also

I would and am waiting myself although i admit its hard fighting the urge but i dont want to regret my purchase

yeh Witcher 2 & Mafia II both which barely play on a 570 with good settings, might be a few more i could checkout though
2.5k for a x99 i think is a good amount but rather go with 2k. i use 2560x1080 will go 4k but only when it can be maxed (not right now )

Buy X99, CPU and memory to soothe the need to upgrade and wait a few more weeks to see what happens with the new Nvidia GPU's and RMA.

Hurry up Nvidia! Not sure I can hold out another week or 2. I'm not going 4k anytime soon which I'd why I could just get a 780ti or titan now. Potential imenent price drop is holding me back.
