help me make my mind up

hi @ all, im gonna do a bit of a upgrade soon,
im gonna go for a

asrock=dual-vista motherboard
3800x2=cpu

now im gonna try and get away with using my old gfx "6600gt"
i know it wont be as good as the newer cards so i might be able to get another one

im thinking about a 7300gt-ddr3, i have heard very good things about them
but would it be a lot better than my 6600gt.....

i have found this web site that allows you to compare gfx cards against each
other

and it says the 7300gt-ddr3 is about half the power of a 7900gs
what do you guys think of this????

based on what ive seen the 7300GT sits somewhere between a stock 6600GT and 7600GS and can be clocked to attain near stock 7600GT speeds.

for the money its a lovely little card best low end card thats been released since the good old GeForce MX range 7 years ago. At present Nvidia are pretty much dominating the low end and small pockets of the high end market where as ATi have pretty much swallowed up the mid range and bottom of the high end market in total.

easy to sell on the 6600gt, then add a little cash and get the 7600gt

got the dual sata here with a 3700 ,just went from 9700 pro to a 7900 gs and i can thoroughly recomend it ,at the price it is now at ,its worth saving for and using your old card in the meantime
