Right i've narrowed my search for a 24" screen down to these 3:

Benq FP241W
LG L245WP
Dell 2407WFP-HC

I've been looking at reviews all over the web and I really dont know which one I should choose. The Dell's downside is no HDMI, the LG's is no DVI, and the BenQ is the fact it doesnt look particularly pretty.

So, is there one that sticks out above the rest?

Thanks

I thought the BenQ G2400W didn't look pretty in pics also, but in person it's really nice! Very classy monitor. It is quite similar to the FP241, but the 241 does have a slightly better (thinner) frame.

With this in mind, and considering that the others are somewhat limited due to lack of DVI or HDMI, I'd go for the BenQ, no question. Reviews are always very good, too. I haven't seen a bad one yet.

The Dell has a bit of a minor ghosting problem which you might have already read about. Dell and Benq are PVA, the LG is MVA. They're all quality screens though with good panels. There's also the OcUK/Digimate L2442WD if you want to save some money and if OcUK can manage to send you a non-TN panel. And there's the new Dell 2408WFP although again that has a few minor (for most people) issues.
