i an looking to upgrade my ddr2 system to a full atx ddr3 system, don't need or want x-fire and i want a mobo with core unlocker, and i want it full atx. this is for gaming i want it to look cool and the max budget is around £80 for the mobo, and around £40 for the ram, is the xms3 any good or should i go for something like the vengeance?
help me, need a decent am3 mobo(not micro atx)

thanks for your info, the only problem i have is that my power supply does not have an 8-pin connector, but it does have 2 x 4-pin connectors as well as the pcie 6pin supply. can i use these 2 4-pin leads to power the mobo? if not i am seriously looking at the ASUS M4A87TD EVO.

ok, found this 1 out myself. for future proofing im better off getting the 970 over the 870 purely for the 8+ cores on bulldozer when its released. which is a realistic upgrade from my 550. however. what 970 mobo comes with UEFI bios and core unlocking except ASUS M5A97? again, for around the £80-£90 mark
