help me out please. new comp problems

hey.

ok he says when he turns the pc on, everything starts up, fans spinning etc but there is no beep and nothing comes up on the screen.

things hes already tried:

1 gig ram instead of 2.
different screens.
different hard drive.
no graphics card.

any obvious problems?

if u need anymore info then please ask away.

so he has 2 1GB sticks, has he tried both individually?

make sure everything is seated correctly

GPU, RAM, power supply connectors

has he connected the extra 4/8 pin power connector to the motherboard
has he connected the PCI-E power connector to the GPU (if required)

Need to get hold of another gpu to try really and test it with that

As it seems that the problem is pointing towards the graphics card

i didnt think you actually needed a graphics card to boot tho? shouldnt the onboard just kick in if you dont have one in?

Most motherboards don't have onboard graphics. The way you've written your post I assume its not the PC in your sig. Can you post a complete spec of the PC you're talking about?
