I've bought a keystone module for wall but i having difficultly understanding the diagram provided. When i make my own Cat 5 cable, i always use this T568B wiring order:

1. White-orange
2. Orange
3. White-green
4. Blue
5. White-blue
6. green
7. White brown
8. Brown

Can a network guru kinda use photoshop to draw or explain here please:

Its pretty straight forward, just start with the top wires

So for T568B wiring

Orange stripe wire will go in to number 1
Orange wire in number 2
Green stripe will go in number 3 terminal
blue will go in number 4
blue stripe in number 5
green in number 6
brown stripe in number 7
brown in number 8

if you were doing

T568A then just following the same process, but use the A columb to match the colour with the terminal number.

Thanks a lot :D, i was gonna say why they put green colour in the oranges stripe and orange area. which is why this confuses me.
i wish i can give you credibility for explaining to me. thanks very much!

Good luck with those jacks, get the cable in right first time because they fall to pieces if you try to pull the wire back out.

had fun doing mine lol
Bit of a learning curve getting them in right first time without having to hack wires back out.

remember to test with a cable tester too before making anything final.

Its not actually that hard, I think the main thing is making sure you have a decent tool to punch down with, the old crappy small plastic punch down things will cause you issues they are horrible to use and just a cheap alternative to the proper tool, having something like below though will make things much easier and you will get good punch downs first time and not have to remove wires and re-punch, plus they also cut any excess wiring thats not required

8pin RJ45/RJ11 cable tests can also be bought pretty cheaply from the bay (around £5-£8) they test each pin out.
