I'm on the lookout for a new fan controller to my Stacker STC-T01. I'm a fan of LCD-screens, IF they are of good quality and can provide somewhat useful info... Anyhow, I've been looking at a few:

Silverstone Eudemon SST-FP52: Nice aesthetics, but a no go because of no manual control... Useless. http://www.tomshardware.com/2004/06/15/fighting_fan_noise_pollution/page7.html

Akasa All-in-one: Fairly nice aesthetics, but only 2 fan channels: http://www.akasa-europe.com/akasa_english/spec_page/control_panels/spec_ak_all_01bk.htm

Do you guys have any suggestions? Don't know what to get really  . And is there any fan controllers where I can save different "modes", let's say one "gaming mode", one "desktop mode" etc.?

I already have a sunbeam rheobus, which does the job good. But I still want something else than just knobs you can twist... Any ideas?

What's happened to all the decent fan controllers? I can't seem to find more than a couple of decent fan controllers anywhere.

There used to be loads of choice, now theres none.

I use a coolermaster aerogate 2 and i would recommend it if you can get hold of one, it looks good and does the job. My only issue with it is it doesn't remember previous fan speeds very accurately, so when you switch the pc back on the fans will be running at a slightly higher speed. Although they may have fixed this, its had a few revisions.

Don't think they're selling the aerogate 2 anymore... Didn't quite like it either(tell me I'm picky :D )

I've been looking at the aerocool coolwatch as well, but I'm not sure if I like it, and most of all it's really expensive... Jesus, how hard can it be to pick a fan controller :p

btw, just wondering about a thing. I want to connect 3x yate loon D12SL-12 fans on one channel. That should be about 0.9A, or 10w(?). Will the scythe kama be able to cope with that? :)
