Help me pick a tablet.

You should have gone for the Sam Gal Tab 2 10.1..
I got one for xmas. I bought a Leather foldall with bluetooth keyboard.(works Great)
A OTG lead that I plug my external card reader into because it has CF on it. (works Great)
Did a small easy fix so I can see my External card and I can download/upload photos to it and CRAW and view them all. (drag n drop them to the external card).
Whovever said you can't to HDMI adapter for it did not brows the internet enough. There is one. Just google it.
Only one thing I can't do with it, is to get it to recognise a 2.5" external HD. When I do, I'll let you know. Oh Yea! I can even Tether my DSLR to it. GREAT tab.

Unfortunately the hdmi adapter currently only works with the US version of the galaxy tab 2 10.1.

The samsung galaxy tab 2 has a 10.1 screen and currently a £50 rebate offer from samsung. Mine cost £238 brand new, after the £50 rebate that will be £188. It has a micro sdport. It runs fine on everthing I have tried so far except the most demanding websites which are a bit slower to load than on our ipad2. Also there is a free upgrade to Android 4.1.1 which is very stable and user friendly.

Just to be aware initially mine ran quite slowly. Once I updated to 4.1.1 and then did a factory reset it now runs smoothly for films, youtube, netflix etc. There is currently no hdmi adapter for this tablet. Also it is a dual core with 1GB of ram , not a problem now but may be when new games demanding quad core cpu's come out.

Wow £238 For a galaxy Tab 2, love to know where you got that one from.

Im looking at a nexus 7, but cant find the 16gb version antwhere at the moment for decent money, can only get the 32gb one, which puts it into the Samsung tab price range if i can get the deal you got..

The prices of them are very volatile at the moment. I checked various retailers on a daily basis and went for it when the price was right.
