Yah I saw a few of them but I am not keen on the front lights on the 996, never had been.

I also saw a 997 with a supercharger but I think I will be happy with the 355 bhp for now.
 
I'd find a manual C2S with the aero kit. Can't imagine auto box being much fun in the snow.
 
Well as you asked neither for me. Don't like Tips and don't see the point of a 4WD on a 911. Keep looking would be my advice. £1000 please, I have to book the full hour :D
 
...and househamster is fine with me, my ego is well under control even though I drive and RS4 and have a Breitling, both of which I am not that keen on! Housemaster actually comes from my love of the music back in the 80's rather than any school master conatations if anyone ever wondered. It has been my nickname with my mates for best part of 20 years and even at 41 a few old mates still call me housey or housemaster so it kinda stuck!
 
Having spotted you have snow it might be a little better to have 4WD but really snow tyres have a much greater impact on performance in snow and a 911 has pretty excellent traction due to the weight over its rear wheels.
