Two things, both problems seem to occur on the same monitor.
I've got quite a few blotches on the screen as shown in the pictures inside the spoiler - will these fade with time? Or is this an actual problem with the monitor and needs to be replaced etc.

The other thing is screen tear. This video will better explain it (only happens on this monitor)

Sorry about poor quality pictures and video, was done on my phone. For the video best bet to open into Youtube.

Any help much appreciated.

Isn't that when your graphics card renders the frames quicker than your monitor?

No idea, its an eyefinity display group set at 144hz, i got no tearing with my old 120hz screens or my older 60hz eyefinity setup.

you shouldn't get bright patches like that imo,should be all one even colour,idk if its backlight bleed but that's normally found round the edges

60/120 are probably vsynced...144 wont be.
