help me please

hey guys im a noob to building pcs and have just finished putting mine together, every thing seems to power up as all the fans are spining, but i get no signal to the moniter

where have i gone wrong.

the specs are

asus a8nsli deluxe
amd 3700+
pny ddr400 1gb
samsung spinpoint 160gb hdd
nvidia 7600gs

i think thats all.

ive tried 2 moniters, 1 crt an 1 dell tft which i know definatly works.

il try the second slot for pci does it matter which it should be in ? its in the top one at the moment, there isnt any power conections on the card and the fan does spin

i cant get to another card as the secong pc is agp. i dont think the a8n-sli has on board gfx or i just cant see it. how do i clear cmos ? ive never done this before

does it matter which slot the memory goes into ?

the memory is a 1gb single stick, its in the slot nearest the edge of the board if that matters ?

cheers mate, i tried that an still nothing

ive tried both pcie slots aswell. the psu is a 350atx one should that be powerfull enough for it ?

no bleeps no, there is a load of leads for the cases front display but i have only conected the power and reset ones, when i fitted the cpu i did find it realy hard to put the fan/heatsink on could that be my prob ?

i conected that but i didnt notice any beeps. but being the defeatist i am lol i have given it to a mate that works on pcs to see if he can get it going, il post up when it works .
