help me please

hi

i need help i am at work and i have a old windows 98 pc here which i have just had to replace the led cables and the power button cables and since that hasd been done the pc is loading up and making a wierd clicking noise then after a minute of tht it starts bleeping at me could it be the way i have connected the lights and buttons to the mainboard please help as i am only a apprentice

Google your Mobo and get the right colour coded lay out for your power cables etc then re do them.
