Come on guys, i really need advice on this

New build in signature is doing my head in. today from cold boot, complete fail, restart to optimised defaults.

Cant even turn xmp on without system becoming unstable.

Already rma'd one set of ram as my motherboard didnt support it, but now i have a supported set its still happening. (sorry ocuk)

Newest beta bios

windows 10

I was using the fancy hi-res tweaker, if you know what i mean?

I've tried just using xmp and setting manually, it did stay okay for a few days then suddenly cold booting or restarting would make it unstable.

Only had it at 4ghz and 2400mhz, then yesterday it died so i only had the memory set at 2400 with no cpu overclock. but it kept dying :(

The cpu switch on the motherboard is on 1, im guessing that is the overclock setting.

Ok just to check, these are the steps i will take after the dog walk

Take out the cmos battery.

remove all ram, then try each one in slot 1 and enable xmp. then reset and try the next stick. Correct?

Not too sure if this is also related, but on corsair link it says gigabyte motherboard temp sensor 2 is -55c??

Okay guys i checked each ram stick and also done a memory test.

Memory is fine!

This must be a motherboard issue surely?

nope i just used xmp of set it manually. all voltages were auto, maybe thats the problem.

need to work out what the problem is, something shady with the bios thats maybe not running 'auto' how it should be.

where is system agent voltage?

i managed to get xmp working by turning fastboot off for the memory and turning enhanced compatibility on, but im highly doubtful this will work for long
