i have a:AMD athalon 64x2 dual core processor6000+ 3.01 ghz and 4GB ram
i am curently running a nvidia 9800gtx and want to know if i would handle a nvidia 460gtx,
i am fairly new to this and would like your opion wether this would work or
if u could recomend somthing that would work on my system thats better then the 9800gtx

What model PSU is it? If it's a no brander then you need to buy a new PSU as lower end brands usually only state the peak wattage (which only lasts for a few seconds before exploding), or doesn't give enough amps on the 12v rail.

As for performance which 460 are you considering, the 768mb ro 1gb? And which 9800 model do you have?

If I remember correctly the 8800 and the 9800 were practically the same cards...
