Now that I've got my water cooling set up all finished I thought that I'd have a try and push my X2 3800 S939 a little further. :p

I can boot into windows at 2.7 with more vcore (I've tried up to 1.55v) but it isn't orthos stable. I've clocked down the memory and HT so I know that's not an issue.

I thought about going over 1.55 vcore but was a little nervous about going that high.

I was wondering if upping the Northbridge or Southbridge voltage would help? There is an option in the bios for overvolting it but there's no fine tuning.

Any help would be much appreciated.

What temps are you getting @ 2.5GHz and how much voltage is needed for that speed?

I've managed to get mine to 2.85Ghz with roughly 1.48v under Water. However 2.9-3.0Ghz are just a no no, regardless if I up the voltage past 1.55v. Just seems to be the chip. :(

Can you provide the other settings and components? i.e. RAM/Mobo
