There was a game i used to play (im sure it was Steam Free to Play)

i remember the music during gameplay, and i remember parts of the game

Basically, its like a sports 3rd person game, but in an arena battle
Think it was like a Team of 4 Vs the enemy

i used to play a player who had a baseball bat and ball with unique abilities

cant really describe anymore :/

Been looking on steam, and came across a game called Brutal Legends, which i thought was it at first. but i do remember that you can play a guitar to get power ups (i think)

its like a big arena (you scroll left and right i think)

the player i would chose quite often, had a baseball bat, and can hit the ball 3-ways or bouncing balls etc etc

co-op play i think

You can play as a fast scout, one of his weapons is a baseball bat and ball.

All the characters you can choose iirc are sportsman of some kind

It's almost a top down game, it's 3rd person
 
Almost top down. Like Quake but also a platformer. A beat em up with sports elements and co op, played in a 3rd person perspective; I have no idea what the game is called, but it sounds like it encompasses almost every genre.:D
 
defiantly not Monday night combat, used to play that a lot, but its on the similar lines though

not games of glory

but your getting there

up next it has zombies and a battle Royale mode! In an open world sandbox.
 
It wasn't Loadout, was it?

I've never played it, but I remember it is a free to play small team battle. Probably a bit too new though.

nope not loadout
camera angle is higher, and i dont remember being any guns, more like baseball bats with balls and i cant remember what else ! lol
