Help me remember this game :)

There was a game I played on the Amiga a long time ago and I just can't remember what it was called!

You were in a space fighter type ship and could visit planets, fly underground through caverns and in space etc. I don't remember much else - I vaguely remember finding a junkyard type place in space. It seemed pretty open and I could never work out what the goal was

Found it! Was called Starglider - not sure if it was the 1st or 2nd though. That brought back some memories looking through the lists of game.

I really wish they would remake some of them!

Starglider 2 was released in 1988, issue 98 of Retro Gamer has a feature on Rainbird Software who published it if you're interested.
