Help me respec my mate

still havent decided on a cpu cooloer tho i want one that looks good and moves a lt of air (dosnt need to flash stupid colours or anything but blue would be nice)
For the sheer massive budget you have, I'm suprised you aren't debating a water cooling custom setup for maybe around £200 - £300.

yes i do sort off listen lol

i dont a wc system its a waste of money what u can do with £300 of wc u can do with £50 worth of fams, given they might be a little loud but the volume i have my speakers its not really gona bother me lol

And then the volume of it all when I pull out the circuit breaker due to not being able to sleep will be amazingly low. :p

On a more serious note. WOOOO I got some sense into him.

To be honest, the amount he fiddles with/breaks his PCs, WC really isn't sensible. Also from what I've seen he likes to shift his PC around a lot, and WC could end up rather messy, well a first time WC setup is likely too.

hey i do not break my pc, its not my fault if my stupid stuck up flatmates turn off the power half way through updating my bios.

and yes my pc travels with me when i go home for more 3 or more weekss so wc not a good idea. and yes rob u win :P sorta anyway next he will be trying me to change the main board lol

DONT EVEN TRY!

hey i went down to a 750w psu as u were complaining about r electric bill will be too high, i only have 1 pc unlike u or matt with his server farm. (how high did he get that p2 to over clock to in the end) anyway it wont be that loud. if it is ill buy u ear plugs :P

the 2nd spec there is actually more powerful that the 1st, and has a much better clocking ability at a lower temp, and will save on electricity...

am i missing something??? :p

No, I was complaining that the 1KW PSU is major overkill, and that the Corsair 520W/620W will do fine. Plus it might adversly effect the bill.

Also Matt only has his main thing, I have my main one, aswell as the server, the server does all downloading...some some people (not pointing any fingers...;)) don't hog the connection. :) It also runs things like TeamSpeak and anything else that it may need. And when I have more money It'll have all my main data stored on it.
