Just bought this case for my step son as a Christmas present, but wondering what adapter etc I need to use the ARGB fan that comes with it.

He has a 2500k based system, so no RGB headers or anything.

Looking at a standalone controller such as the below, but just want to confirm compatibility (as the different RGB standards seem to be a minefield)

Reading the manual there's a button which when the controller is in Manual mode will switch to 8 different settings.

There are RGB Controllers that connect to a USB2 header (Corsairs Lighting mode pro which come with the 3 packs of RGB fans is such a controller, I know because I have one) but they are £££'s.
 
The button on the case I think just controls the front panel lighting, I don't think it has anywhere to attach the argb fan
