Hi,

I have 2gb of corsair 3500ll pro memory, I am using an asus mvp moboard, with amd 4800 and 2* ati 1900's in crossfire.

In the bios I can see many settings for memory, i have made a list, would anyone them be kind enough to tell me what values I should use to get the best from this memory?

mem clock

cas
tras
trp
trcd
trrd
trc
trfc
trwt

read peamble
async latency
cmd addr

bank interleave
burst length

the options can all be set to auto though I'm not sure this pushes the most performance from the ram, can anyone please help?

Thanks
Raja

Motherboard make and model: Asus A8N-SLI Premium
Each pair is tested and packaged together using the following settings:
CPU External Frequency: Manually set to 217MHz
DRAM Clock: Manually set to 1:1 or 400MHz
SDRAM CAS Latency: 2.0T
SDRAM RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 3T
SDRAM Row Precharge (tRP): 2T
SDRAM Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 6T
SDRAM Bank Interleave: 4 Bank
SDRAM VDIMM: 2.75
Command Rate 1T
All other settings are motherboard defaults.
Maximum recommended VDIMM: 2.9

hope this helps Matt

You can probably get away with dropping the tRAS to 5 (2-3-2-5). Me and a couple others have tried this and it has worked fine. I've also found better results with my RAM at 2.6V.

what is the vcore for those settings? Stock or higher?

also setting the ratio to 1:1 with PC3500 sets the memory to 434Mhz not 400MHz or am i missing something?

The 'sweetspot' I found for the Vdimm on my 3500ll was 2.75. Running 2.5-3-3-7 @295FSB on a 166divider. Dosn't matter how much more volts I put through the memory I cannot get tighter timings than when running 2.75. Memtest 0-errors.

2-3-2-5 worked for me too at stock.
