Oh no i dont do math, im Majoring in Medicine and minoring in Pharmacy. I just believe that a degreee in math will get you a far higher paid then psychology will. ;)

Which has nothing to do with your original assertion that any fool could get pass psychology...

If you came to me applying for a psychologists job with an A in maths i might send you packing..

be careful though she might start convincing you that all your issues are because you secretly want to sleep with your father :p

oh and Maths > * 100% FACT tbh!

They're both as diverse as eachother really, as Maths is used everywhere, but Psycology is a HUGE subject. You more often than not have to do a masters to specialise in a particular area of Psycology before your skills can be put to much use in the real world, so it could actually mean more as you often have to put in a lot more work.

As other people have said, i'm pretty sure you know nothing about the subject. I used to have pretty much the same opinion as you when i was in sixth form, that Socialogy and Psycology are useless subjects.

Learn a bit about something before you create a thread about it.

Hi there,

I've been having an argument with one of the girls doing a Psychology BSc she claims that if she got an A in a psychology mid-term, it would be equivalent to say an A in a Math midterm.

Just ran that through the Googletralslatorstudentbabelfish and it came up with this:

"I've got the hots for this girl in the psychology class and I so want to go there it's unreal. I'll try and pretend I'm really, really brainy. Maybe that will work?" :D

I've known plenty of mathematicians (especially people doing pure maths) who have absolutely no clue as to how to apply their abilities in a practical sense. Good heads on their shoulders but apparently filled with helium and floating up in the clouds of theory completely dissociated from the real world.
