so I have a 1080 msi watercooled. I got this when it was on sale for like £450, so a bargain. If I added another 1080 would it have to be the same model? For example couldn't it be a asus 1080?
 
I'd be more tempted to sell the 1080 and put the money you were to splash on the 2nd card on a 1080Ti
 
If you can, try and get the same version as yours.

I’ve read that 2 cards with different clock speeds run at the slower cards speed.
