Hi guys,
Just after some advice really here on the best way forward!
We have one physical server running Server 2008 R2, with Hyper-V on it.
Virtual Machines are:
1x Exchange
1x DC
1x File/print/Sage etc
We are looking at setting up RDS (Remote Desktop services) in to our setup, mostly to use the web application features.
Not really sure whether it is best to set this up on the physical server as RDS uses virtualisation, but I like to keep the physical box doing pretty much nothing apart from Hyper-V. Or, set it up on the file/print/sage server, and then setup the virtualisation bit only on the physical box. Any help would be great
The physical server is currently a DC also which I know is bad, but I will soon be setting up another virtual machine as DC02 and move the main roles onto the virtual DC01, and then finally demote the physical server.
Cheers,
Mal
