Help me solve why my second monitor is messing up please:)

got back from a LAN party last night. I set up my pc again but its developed a strange problem where the second monitor (a Hanns G hw191d) will go like this every time its set to its native resolution of 1440x900:

but it only does it at that resolution:s

any lower and its fine


any ideas?!

changing the refresh rate doesnt do anything
