So after recently upgrading i passed down my old i7 920 to a friend and he added a 1050ti to play fortnite and some other light games with us.
he recently purchased an oculus rift after using mine but when he tried to play robo recall he had a pop up saying his CPU wasnt upto scratch because of missing sse4.1/sse4.2/avx authentication.
He wants to upgrade to use his rift with all of the games.
he has a budget of £400 and just needs cpu, mobo, ram. He's not seriously into the hardware just wants to run things comfortably.
I did look at this bundle but thought i'd check with you guys first.
