what i use the computer for is gaming - nothing hugely demanding most of the time. mostly MMORPGs ie. WoW, Archeage, DotA2, Marvel Heroes etc etc. i also like to dip into some RTS, thinking that new civ game.

the options say my RAM is going to be black and gold, is there anyway that can be black and red? the mobo is black and red so i was going to make a theme out of it. hence the fans i have chosen (although the missus thinks i should go for the blue ones).

i have a GPU - EVGA GTX 970 SC.
 
Are you after a pre overclocked bundle? can you do it yourself?

I would ask about the RAM as they do red+black for that Kingston stuff.

That RAM is good timings+speed, the 750W PSU is plenty even for a 2nd GFX card.

The Corsair fan comes with red, white and blue rings to easily swap the colour, it is for the heatsink.
 
yea i want a pre overclocked bundle, not done it before. this will be the first pc i go into with the mindset of doing some overclocking and stuff later on. possibly even adding a custom watercooling loop hence the case. but thats some time down the line.

tbh i liked the lights on the superflower psu. and i went 1kw so i had headroom in a few years time when maybe somethings stop being green.

any ideas on a date for the red/black case?

why the gigabyte board over the msi one? i prefer the looks of the msi one.

why the seagate barracuda over the WD green? i will recycle the SSD from the pc im on now so ill have 2x250GB SSDs for games and OS. WD not the go to brand in HDD?

why not the samsung SSD? i believe they are the most reliable?
 
Gigabyte has a 4year warranty on that board and a great UK based RMA center and customer support.

The Seagate HDD is 7200rpm, the WD green is "up to" 5400rpm or something like that.

Its a good SSD, I would certainly trust iot with my data.

Id also like to add that the glowing connectors on the Superflower PSU wont be visible in the Phanteks or NZXT case as the PSU is in its own compartment.
 
i was for about a year set on the H440 but since seeing the enthoo primo i now want that one lol. it is the case i have picked, if i pick something else i will regret it down the line.

There is going to be a red/black model of the enthoo primo. Though it wont be available for a few months. The primo will be better for air intake than the 440 though.
 
i wish they hadnt put the red/black enthoo on the website yet lol its going to make me want to wait but like the child in my heart as soon as i get my money (4 weeks away max ) i will probably press the order button.

the blue mobo options dont seem very attractive though.
