Could someone recommend me a PC with a budget of £1,000 based around an Intel Core2DUO mostly for gaming and general multimedia use.

No monitor required just a case full of goodies!!

I don't think its that people do no like the e6600 as its a great chip, its just the e6300 clocks so well and gives very similar performance so you might aswell save yourself some money.
