sorry its in a mess im not sure how to put the image of the basket in lol, so yeh what u think? any of u got any better ideas? see i was thinking of trying to get the price lower by gettin a cheaper proc or case such as these;

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-157-IN&groupid=701&catid=6&subcat=793

or even this:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-171-IN&groupid=701&catid=6&subcat=793

cos i heard it overclocks really well altho i aint overclocked b4 lol

and would this case be up to the task?

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-021-AK&groupid=701&catid=7&subcat=

thank u all very much 4 any help :)

I agree with Gunther. It's a very good spec. :)

It would all fit in that Zen, even the Tuniq if I recall correctly. The 2180 is a great choice if you want to overclock. If you didn't the 6750 would be the choice. If your pockets are deep enough, though, the quad is the way to go.

Perhaps get the 2180 and a nice case now, then when you feel up like upgrading in the future you can get one of Intel's shiny new 45 nm chips. :)

EDIT: There's no secret magic to the image thing. You take a screenshot, crop if necessary, and upload it to a host like imageshack.us.

Just my thoughts. But you may want a bigger hard drive, Ive got 400gb and always running out of space

Ive had 280gb for 2/3 years now and hardly run out of space so I would have to disagree with Begbie, maybe get another HD later if you realise 250 is too little :)

wow thanks 4 the replies guys really appreicate it, i will try and stretch 4 the quad but if not i think i will get the e2180 and a better case that seems like a pretty smart idea, and i think that HDD should be fine i have 60 atm so anyfin will be an upgrade lol, and i dont really download music or films or anyfin only play games and i never have too many installed at the same time cos thats pointless. if any1 else has any ideas on how to make my purchase better i would appreciate it i plan to get it nov 15th cos i wana w8 to see if the ati and new gts cards are any good but i will probaly go 4 the 8800gt cos of my budget

With hard drives i find that you tend to live towards your means, aka the more you have, the faster you fill it.
Its not difficult to simply add another hard drive in the future tho.

yeh i will do if it becomes a problem, i do see what your saying tho its like if u have it use it lol

any1 else got any suggestions? im gunna be living on beans 4 a few months after this cos im a student so i wanna make sure its a sound purchase, il get some money again in january so i could probaly upgrade a few parts then

i got it down to £600 with ddr3 compatability, 8800 gt and same psu and cpu. i didn't add a fan as depending on when you buy it i.e. toay or tomorrow the fans on special offer will differ. but pick up the cheapest lga775 cpu fan you can. ie. the arctic freezer pro normaly

sweet thanks, thats looking pretty good, 2 questions tho is that ram actually any good? cos it looks a bit too cheap lol, and same question about the mobo. but yeh apart from that i am loving the price :)

the mobo is fine, if anything it is better than the gigabyte which people have no end of problems with . the ram is budget but i have left you 50 quid to play with so for an extra 6 quid you could upgrade to the ultra low latency version that is superb for 34.99!
